Matt Maupin is finally coming home
Almost 4 years after his capture Matt Maupin a Batavia,Ohio native is coming home. Unfortunately he will be laid to rest. This past weekend DNA proved that Matt's remains had been found in Iraq. Such a sad story. I never knew Matt but like many people I am touched and sad about this discovery. I had met his mom a couple times and she had such high hopes that Matt was going to come home alive. At least the Maupin family now has closure. Matt has completed his mission and can be laid to rest with the respect and honor his deserves. Please keep the Maupin family in your prayers.
